The students in the Urban Shelter Course are conducting their fieldwork in Metro Manila for three weeks. During fieldwork they collect data by interviewing urban poor households in different housing areas and visit different organizations responsible for urban planning and housing. The information collected during fieldwork will allow the students to design a sustainable residential area for low- and middle income households the rest of the semester. In the final critique in Lund architects from the Philippines will participate as a review panel.
