Gunnar Sandin

 

Research

Gunnar Sandin is associate professor at the Department of Architecture and Built Environment. 

His research include: Visual and material culture studies of architecture and urban development; Theories of place, land use and urban planning; Participatory practices in urban space; Arts-based research methods and Inter-art studies.

He is director of research studies, and chair of the research staff committee at the Department of Architecture and Built Environment, at LTH/LU. He is also chair of the program committee of the Swedish national research school in architecture (ResArc).

Sandin supervises doctoral students in subjects related to architecture, planning and visual arts. He teaches design and architecture theory at graduate and post-graduate level.
